General Rules of Conduct & Discipline

  • Strict regularity, implicit obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct are expected from every student. All must strictly conform to the regulations laid down in this regard.
  • The wearing of clean and ironed school uniform is obligatory.
  • Any kind of damage to school property or school premises must be made good by the student. Disciplinary action will be taken otherwise.
  • No present are to be made to any staff members.
  • All students must carry the school diary to school everyday.
  • Late comers and those arriving after 10 minutes of the bell for assembly will not be permitted in the school.
  • Once a student is in the school, he/she will not be allowed to go home early. In case of any emergency, the parents have to come to school and collect their ward. The students will not be allowed to leave with anyone else, even with a written consent by the parents.
  • No student will be allowed to go home during school hours unless a prior application is made and sanctioned by the Principal (only urgent reason).
  • If a student continues to be absent from class for 15 days without intimation to the Principal or class teacher his or her name will be struck off the rolls and re-admission of the child will be made.
  • Accumulation of fee arrears, habitual absenteeism, action detrimental to the discipline of the school, repeated failures in tests or examinations and insubordination are sufficient reasons, singly or together to expel a student from the school.
  • Parents are strictly forbidden to enter any class or meet any teacher during school hours without the written permission from the office.
  • Our pupil should observe polite behaviour wherever they go. They should greet their teachers when they meet them, bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
  • All parents/guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities on matters concerning school disciplines.
  • Students should be collected from the school within 30 minutes after it has closed,
  • The school shall issue warnings for any indiscipline by the student. Parents are required to take a note of it.
  • The management committee of the school has right to change or add any of the rules without prior notice.
  • Whenever you wish to discuss your child's progress in school you are welcome to meet us on any working day between 10:00 am. to 12:00 noon.
  • Home work assigned to the pupil by the teacher should be done regularly and parents/guardians are requested to co- operate with the school authorities by checking the home work of their ward.
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in school premises.
